ERM can provide tailored training courses suitable for anyone from maintenance personnel to Engineers and SAPs, giving a broad understanding of HV earthing. Emphasis is placed on developing an understanding of the principles involved to enable staff to work safely on earthing systems and the requirements imposed by applicable legislation.
Courses can include practical aspects of earthing testing and commissioning, field measurements, test equipment, conductor types and jointing, high frequency earthing, fence earthing and terminal tower bonding.
We can also provide training in risk assessment for safety hazards associated with earthing systems, including training to National Grid NSI24 standard.
