Training
We offer short training courses aimed at maintenance personnel, SAPs and others who wish to gain an understanding of issues associated with substation earthing. Emphasis is placed on developing an understanding of the principles involved to enable staff to work safely on earthing systems.
Other aspects covered include the practical aspects of earthing which commonly generate the need for specialist advice including conductor types and jointing, high frequency earthing, fence earthing and terminal tower bonding.
We can also provide training in risk assessment for safety hazards associated with earthing systems.
